What you can find in our application:

FOR PARENTS

Diagnosis

The app can be used at any stage of therapy – immediately after the hearing aid is fitted/implanted, but also at a later stage. To assess a child’s auditory development, we provide a diagnosis in the form of an engaging online activity.

Customised work path

We customise a therapy path for a child based on the diagnosis; the app provides step-by-step guidance, suggesting exercises and activities for each day; the app reminds of the exercises and keeps the parent updated on statistics and progress.

Multimedia activities and engaging games

Adjusted to the child’s age and stage of auditory development, in an attractive form bringing joy and fun rather than strenuous work. The app combines exercises with a motivational system and favourite characters to make children look forward to the daily practice.

Consultation

An opportunity to discuss work methods and the child’s progress.

ABOUT US

Children’s education is our passion. We use new technologies to create programmes and applications to support therapies for children with special needs. We also publish valuable books for the youngest readers via KocurBury.pl publishing house.

The first version of the PlayWithSounds programme with exercises for children with hearing impairment was created by us back in 2012. The programme contained hundreds of exercises, games, pictures and sounds and was used by parents and speech therapists. It was the first programme in Poland to support hearing and speech rehabilitation. It was based on the Adobe Flash technology. As it is no longer supported by browsers, we therefore plan to develop a new mobile app to meet the needs of many families providing therapy and professionals working with children with hearing loss.

The team set to work on the app is made up of speech specialists with many years of experience working with children with hearing loss, as well as renowned illustrators, who make sure that children want to return to practise every day.

The issue of hearing loss is also dear to us for personal reasons. The inspiration for the programme came in 2012 from a few-year-old Konrad, who today is a high school student. Konrad is bilaterally implanted, he underwent many years of rehabilitation with us and he was also the first tester of our exercises and games.
